Thought #3: Can You Ever See Things from Their Perspective?

What color is the sky? “Blue.” That is what you and I would call it.

However, our perception of it may differ. I may perceive what you call “blue,” as red. But because we were conditioned to assign that color the classification of “blue,” you would never know that “blue” looks different to me than it does to you.

The color and its label could be different for everyone. However, because the pairing of a color to its label is consistent for you and me, we may never know what pigment the other person actually perceives.
